Imaginary Dining Room

We’ve finally received our walk-through and move-in dates from the developer who is building our new townhouse. We will be checking for deficiencies tomorrow and then moving in, finally, on March 11. It’s been nearly a year of waiting, watching, and waiting. We couldn’t be more excited!

In preparation for the move, we have bought a gorgeous reclaimed wood dining table, bench and sideboard. Now I’m having fun browsing the web for rugs, lamps, wall decor, etc. We already have four gold and green floral upholstered Parson’s dining chairs.

Let me know what you think of this blended mod/trad look. I can’t wait to share the first photos of our blank slate and many more as the new house grows a personality of its own.

Thanks to ColourLovers.com for the gorgeous palette building tool. If that doesn’t get you in the mood to redecorate, I don’t know what would!

<3 your furniture choices! And colourbuddy looks incredibly useful, if not for interior design then for crafting! I got into scrapbooking a while ago and I would def use the palette tool to put together pages / cards.
